Counselling

I believe counselling to be a holistic process, integrating all aspects or parts of your self and your world: mind, body, mental, social and spiritual. I will work collaboratively with you to integrate these elements into a coherent whole, exploring patterns of behaviour and thinking together, to discover different and new ways of being in relationship.

My philosophy is rooted in the belief that whilst life can be confusing and overwhelming, you hold an inherent capacity for growth and wholeness.

My Approach

My Approach

As an integrative counsellor I understand that one theory or philosophy may not be the answer for everyone, and my training includes psychodynamic, behavioural, transpersonal, and humanistic theories so that I can respond to your individual needs, supporting you as we explore how past experiences may be impacting current relationships.

My background is in therapeutic trauma work, exploring complex themes such as sexual and domestic abuse and violence, as well as loss in all its forms, anxiety, depression and grief.

You can expect warm, authentic, and empathic support. I’ll listen deeply, offer insights, and work with you to uncover patterns; my commitment is to support your journey with respect and care.

Consultations take place weekly at my room in Holland Court, Cathedral Close in central Norwich. My fee is £60 and sessions last 50 minutes. I offer appointments Monday to Thursday; some evening appointments are available.

From your initial email, we will arrange a telephone call to discuss a time and date to meet each other and I can answer any questions you may have about myself and counselling.
